eco3 Filtration Dual E - System Replacement Cartridges Kit comes with one each 5 micron pre-filter and .5 micron Chlorine, Lead, Odor, Taste, and Sediment replacement cartridges. Provides market leading water filtration performance certified to NSF 42 and 53 standards for the reduction of Chlorine, Class I Particulate, Taste and Odor, Asbestos, Lead and Cysts for drinking water or drinking water systems. What's more, this system has a built in pre-sediment filter to significantly reduce build up of silt and sludge while protecting the .5 micron filter giving you the increased power to purify water! Simple and easy to install this system will process water through the sediment filter first, then through the .5 micron filter that does all the hard work. The end result is a dual system designed to keep the flow of water at its highest level throughout the lifespan of the system. The eco3 Valved Head (VH) family of products is built with a one-size-fits most option in mind. Certain geographical regions have inherently high silt or sediment content in the water supply, often not visible to the naked eye. It is critical that this contaminant is removed to prolong the life of the water filter in the field and maintain filtration performance. The eco3 Gold range is specifically designed to address such situations utilizing a unique depth filtration membrane, which produces a filter that outperforms the competition. The eco3 Valved Head products are designed to deliver convenience and practicality in the field, week in, week out. This is achieved through the use of our innovative and patented hygienic dry change cartridge design, which means that only the cartridge needs replacing – not the whole filter assembly. The VH1 filter heads have built-in non-return valves to allow both a quick and a dripless filter cartridge change. There are two connection options of the VH1 Valved Head series - the 1⁄4" integral push fit fitting and the 1⁄4" BSPT/NPT.
